This could be a Mickey Mouse.

Was it Galland himself?  Or is it some Mouse from a Cartoon unknown to me?

It is also on some Schlachtgeschwader planes.

I always underatood its was, at least originally, painted by Galland himself whilst flying in the Condor Legion and that its a "homemade" mickey mouse based on Disney's early outings. The cigar mirrors Gallands own popular image. Later versions seen widely on Galland's units are more attribuatable to a stencil based on his original.
