Mossie Normandy Campaign

Quick question about the mossie normandy career, are all the available squadrons at the start of the career engaged in solo nighttime intruder missions? I must admit they aren’t my favourite mission and wondered if all squadrons flew these missions?

The No. 418 Canadian do some day time free hunts also.

418 Squadron RCAF gets a 50/50 mix of daytime solo free hunt and solo night raids on airfields through the first chapters, then switch to almost exclusively hunting V-1s after D-Day.

 

487 Squadron RNZAF gets a variety of night and day bombing missions before D-Day, but exclusively flies nighttime armed recce after that.

 

605 Squadron files exclusively night raids against airfields on the French coast before D-Day, then switches to a mix of those and V-1 patrols.

Haha, just completed the first mission, a twighlight airfield attack, my god its atmospheric in VR! Next mission...daytime free hunt! On my own! Is there any hope of survival? lol

I am using a variant : low level attack at 30 ft and dive 10000 ft to gain speed

It works : they don't chase me !

This is the way.  Watch out for the other flight of FW190s coming back from raiding the English coast.  They should appear right after the original flight gives up the chase.
