how to : automatic ban

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a way to integrate an automatic ban in my future missions.

Example : on a protected airfield, if an attacker shoots at a plane on the ground and therefore against the rules, he is automatically banned for "X" minutes.

Any help would be appreciated.

1C sent to me a folder to implant an autoban (script tools). But I don't know how handle it (a job for IT specialist IMO)

Have you implant your ban system for "x" minutes by the way of a script or by an option in your server?

With all due respect, but hosting a public server requires at least some IT knowledge.  You have to worry about things like security, resource management, stats (even if you don't publish them, you may need some rudimentary stats for an autoban script) etc. Compared to all that, I think an autoban shouldn't be too hard to implement. If you don't know how to implement autoban based on the documentation 1C sent you, are you sure it's a good idea to try to implement a dedicated server at this very moment? It may be a better idea to improve your IT skills and only then start with things like autoban.

 

Anyhow, autobans are not possible with mission logic. This has to be handled server-sided.

Yes, I always knew it wouldn't be easy. If I can't install the autoban, I'll find another way.
