I've seen a few posts about this. It seems like it's network related. I'm 100% sure I've set it up correctly as it worked before and no changes. If I run it from two local machines inside the fw it works fine but as soon we add a player outside the network we can't see each other.

Was there ever any resolution to this problem? I'm port forwarding other services without problems.

Before the normal stuff comes up. Both ports are port forwarded. Ports are open from the outside when dserver is running.

Two years ago when I try hosting multiplayer mission from in the game server I Had the  same issues with invisible players. I can chat with them, see the destruction of objects made by them but plenes were invisible. Ports were open, firewall disabled, nothing which i try helped.

Seems like it was the router getting an automatic update and needed to be restarted... probably took ten years of my life ?

All good now

Nope... still an issue. Came back again

So long story short... it was fixed by the restart but at some point I entered external ip to be the server ip. Removed that and it started to work again.
