You can't. The campaign has historically-based weather settings for each day. If you want to fly with specific weather conditions, you can use the (Advanced) Quick Missions. :)

It is the drifting cloud forms

Make it seem to change"

yes, me too, or a song…

I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now, from up and down, and still somehow…

Just something I scribbled down in a moment of artistic and poetic inspiration ....

Isn't it rich.
Isn't it clear?
Losing my timing this late ....
In my career.
Where are the clouds?
There ought to be clouds.
Well, maybe next year?

There's more but stuff you all.

Well, since this seems to have (d)evolved into some kind of poetry thread, here's one of my own :)

About clouds
When clouds abound
they turn to grey
the world around.
Hear their rumble!
The roaring storm
approaches fast
and bolts of brightness
boldly blast -
it makes one humble,
their show of force.

And when they retreat
and colours grow warm
returns the lightness
we all endorse.
We stand in the heat
of the sun restored,
we enjoy its reward
and look back in dismay
to when clouds were about.

High Flight

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air ....

Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark nor ever eagle flew—
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

No, not me. But from someone/thing called Bing. He/she/it muses over the possibility of removing the clouds but finally realises it's futile,
or at the very least fraught with danger, and decides to embrace the clouds and git gud. A sadly moving, surprisingly romantic, but ultimately
uplifting piece of prose.

It is entitled ....

HOW CAN I REMOVE CLOUDS IN IL2 STURMOVIK GREAT BATTLES?

How can I remove clouds in IL2
That block my view and spoil my fun?
How can I fly without a hitch
And enjoy the game without a glitch?

I could try to lower the settings
And hope for better performance and smoothness
But I would lose the realism and detail
And the game would look dull and pale

I could try to mod the game files
And tweak the parameters and styles
But I would risk breaking the game code
And the game would crash or explode

I could try to find a clear server
And join a match with no weather
But I would miss the challenge and thrill
And the game would be too easy and still

Maybe I should embrace the clouds
And adapt to them with skill and wit
Maybe they add to the immersion and depth
And make the game more fun and lit.

The best. I’ll never forget when Reagan use the first and last lines of this when he gave his televised speech the night of the Challenger disaster.

That's really the one.

Tormented me endlessly as a 3 and 4 year old, riding around town in the green Mustang...with no seatbelt on of course. That and the stupid MacAurthur Park song...Ugh!

I got mad when I got older and realized all the great music my Mom could have been playing.

I don’t know what to tell you, Gambit.  I really don’t know clouds.  At all.

edit: If you want to alleviate your Earworm, by sharing it with the world, join Doctor Sea Serpent in the music room, momentarily.
