Self-centering tailwheel

"The BMW 802D engine was started by an inertia starter energized by a 24-volt external support or by the aircraft's own battery. The big radial was primed internally, both fuel tanks and pumps selected ON and the cooling gills (sic?) set to one-third aperture. We had found that the BMW almost invariably fired first time and emitted a smooth purr as it ran, such being the case on this particular morning, and once i had familiarized myself with the self-centering tailwheel – a feature that had been criticized by some AFDU pilots – I found taxying the essence of simplicity as the fighter could be swung freely from side to side on its broad-track undercarriage. Furthermore, the brakes were very good, although the view with the tail down left much to be desired."

This a copy of Capt. Brown report about the FW190. Anyone from Dev team can tell if we have a self-centering tailwheel working in game and how it works ???

Thank you guys !!!

Until someone more in the know get back to you, to work the self-centering tailwheel,  you must hold full-up elevator.

The tailwheel will be locked/self centered, when the stick is pulled FULLY back.

So inorder to roll straight forward - pull the stick FULLY back.

To turn - releasy the stick gradually and steer with a combination of rudder input and differential braking.

Once ready to roll straight agian - pull the stick FULLY back.

The essential thing is to pull the stick FULLY back - otherwise You will have great problems running straight.

Also setting the propeller pitch manually to 12:30 on the prop pitch indicator seems to help, but I´m not sure this was done in reallife.
