Cant Join Multiplier Servers

Hi all,

 

I haven't been able to join any multiplayer servers. It just stopped working about a year ago. I tried everything, nothing works. It basically gives me a message saying downloading files from server and then nothing happens. I checked the multiplayer download folder in the game, after deleting all the files there, I noticed that it creates folders and files, however, the files are 0 size. Appreciate the help.

Hello!

Do you have antivirus? or firewall active? It might block the files and so, the download and joining to that server.

 

Try disabling both of them just to check

1) Uninstall all mods, if you have some - mostly servers do not allow them.

2) There is one multiplayer folder, which sometimes needs to be erased, I can not remmember which one. Google it, or maybe somebody write it here.

Hi, 

 

I don't have any antivirus running and i completely disabled the firewall. Same result.

I don't have any mods, and I did erase the download folder. When I tried to join a server I noticed that the folder was recreated and It had a file, however, the file size was zero.

I dont have mods installed, and I erased the saved games folder, it didnt work. when I tried to join a server i noticed that the folder was recreated and a file was downloaded, however, it had a zero size.

Saved games is folder for your saved replays. I talk about different folder, something with multiplayer cache or similar in name. Make a ticket to developers, they know what to do.
