Single Player Massed USAAF Raids on Germany/Rhine Map

Has anyone produced a SP mission featuring the description for Mid to Late War for Luftwaffe fighters to intercept? This would include at least two large formations of 10 bombers each escorted or unescorted.  I am referring to a mission or mission/campaigns created with the complex mission builder which I do not know how to use. The simpler mission creator does not lend itself to this endeavor I don't think.

Hello, I made a campaigen called the last stand for the Fw190dora. Missions are based around the last months of 1944. Most missions are not about bomberinterceptions but low level fighting with fighter and figherbombers. I think someone made a more pure bomber interception campaign for the 262 and dora also. Check the scripted campaign section ?

Check out the Wing Walkers WW2 server under multiplayer servers.  There's something like 40+ revolving missions so you'll have to catch it when the right one is on, but there are a handful of high altitude AI bomber formation attack missions.  Once you play one, from what I suspect, you should be able to go into your IL-2 file folder and save that mission and play it on your own.

 

I know you're looking for SP, but the Wing Walkers servers are co-op in the sense that you can only join one side and the other side is AI only.  And most times of the day, you'll be the only one on, so majority of the time, it'll basically be single player.

Come check out my new server "The Cold Blue" - it's all about escorting and intercepting formations of bombers.  There are AI escorts and interceptors, so you can play solo even if no one else is on.  I'm currently running 18 plane formations for the USAAF, and using some tricks to get the B-26s to behave a little more like a B-17 as far as toughness and firepower - they are very challenging to tackle, even without the escorts.
