Hello!

 

IIRC dogfights were few or many pilots who got into them didn’t managed to come back. 
 

Many aircraft and pilots were shot down without notice and/or trying to flee from the combat area.

 

I read some memories from Soviet and Luftwaffe pilots that said that just a couple of minutes of combat was exhausting, but there were some outliers like Bong, Marseille or Sakai. Others like Hartmann didn’t like to get into them so I guess just a couple of minutes
