I don't feel there is any swim lane established that blocks the devs from doing something in the Second Sino-Japanese War or a Pacific battle that isn't in Combat Pilot which would be appealing to players or just a small map where you could have a Wildcat or Hellcat against a Zero.

 

As we're getting the I-153, there could be Khalkhin Gol where we could get the Tupolev SB, an earlier I-16, Ki-27, and the Ki-21 "Sally". We could also get the Flying Tigers which could also get us the Ki-43, and the Ki-45.

There could also be the 1944-45 Burma Campaign where we could get the Vickers Wellington, later B-25 models, P-51A, A6M5, Ki-48, and Ki-84; some planes already in the game such as the P-47, P-38, Hurricane and the C-47 can also be used here.

if combatpilot ever gets game out, and it is succes, in no time will get PTO based DLC for next new game this devs are making, but i do not expect that thir next game is in asia. And only way we gona see anything new in GB here is if some outside party makes map and airplanes for it, like is case with Leningrad map.

That would be the same for an IL-2 GBs Battle of Britain, North Africa and Malta.

Perhaps it's time to move away from WW2!

 

It's been 4 years since Battle Of Normandy was announced and here we are with nothing new really on the horizon, with no new announcements, other than aircraft, tanks and some racing game to draw players in. 

 

I for one am on the cusp of investing elsewhere.

 

The game has become stale, and the Devs aren't listening! Surely this isn't the end of IL2?
