IRRE_FlyPlatypus Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Hello, while i was doing some test of paradrops with the C47, I have noticed several times that I could not respwan after finishing the flight. The server does not crash totaly (if other players are on the server they can continue to play), but on the server info it seems to do no more request at all ( the graph on he server stop and if you clik on the server window it just stop to respond). If i want to spawn I can't, if a friend want to join the server, he can't, all bots seems to stop doing there action, but if you are in flight you can play normally without lags. I got this bug several time now and never did before (i have already host many mission on our server), and everytime it happened it seems that it was after a paradroping of a player or a bot. There is no error in particular, just the error "already spawned error" when I try to spawn. It's hard to see what trigger the bug exactly but i'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the parachutes. It did not seems to be linked to the server performance falling down when the parachutes are dropped because I did a stress test of the server to see with 40 C47 bots droping a the same time, it was of course horrible and unplayable, but the server did not crashed: ( the curve going up and down = paradrops and landing of the paratroopers) Also this test was done on 1.102 game version, and I never get this bug before the 1.103. I have not redoo the stress test on 1.103
IRRE_FlyPlatypus Posted June 4, 2023 Author Posted June 4, 2023 I found what I suppose was the error, some checkzones on the dropzone that activates 2 timers at 0s value which were activating and deactivating the same object (at the same time...). I do not have the issue anymore.
