How to: edit a career mission before take off

Hi,

Maybe it's not new for you but here a small tutorial Video how I edit career missions before playing / take off.

I am using this procedure since ca.2018 to install some mission editor groups to my current career missions.

I myself have never lost a career and I never damaged my installation, but of course you have to consider:

By editing a original IL2-GB career mission there is a potential risk to:

-damage or destroy the mission (backup before editing is possible)

-damage or destroy your career (use at first for testing a dummy/test career)

-damage or destroy your IL2-GB installation (backup all your settings (graphic settings, controller settings))

-In case that some of the mentinoned problems occure, please do not report  this in the Technical Issues and Bug Reporting forum, we are doing these changes on our own risk and I don't want to increase the workload of the support team.

 

In the video the installation of my english AI wingmen warning messages is shown, but this is only an example.

 

The procedure works with VR with my Oculus Rift-S too.

But in general only if it is possible for you, to pull off your VR-Headset while IL2-GB is running and after editing operations to put on the VR Headset again.
