Cant access multiplayer servers

I have been trying to access multiplayer servers and it sopped working for me quite a while ago. I get a message saying downloading files and nothing happens. I noticed that folders are created in the multiplayer game folder, however the files are 0 byte size. Appreciate help. I asked for technical support several times and its completely useless.

The download task when accessing one of those multiplayer servers may sometimes have its quirks! I don't know the exact reason, but it seems that the download
of the necessary files gets corrupted, especially on existing download folders and files that needs to be updated.

 

Assuming that your checked your disk capacity first and you ensure there is enough space left, this might be a solution for you:

So, quit the game and go to your IL2 GB main game folder and the subfolder \data\Multiplayer. There you can delete the whole content of the folder Multiplayer, OK?

Restart the game and select your desired multiplayer server - the download of the files should start and end up correctly.

Hi, I did the exact thing already. when I tried a new server after deleting all the folders, I noticed that a new folder was created for the server I chose, however, the file inside that folder was 0 bites size. I wait for a long time to see if the file would actually download, but nothing happens.
