AlexGuy Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 (edited) Hey. I may have a technical problem that i don't know who to consult with. I accidentally softlocked myself while launching the game. The following pop-up error on my monitor showed "Out of Range" 67.5 kHz / 60 Hz. Is it possible to fix this? I have tried everything. Messing around with Steam launch option commands and shortccut commands like -safe, and tried to look for the resolution settings in the config file to see if i could finally change the settings outside of launching the game, but nothing worked. Even when i reinstalled, the settings just saved themselves and i was still getting the same error. Every time this error came up, i couldn't Alt Tab out, use Alt Ctrl Delete, or even use Alt F4 to get rid of the softlock, and every single time i was forced to keep wearing out my PC using the power button every time this happened when i tried to fix the error. I've been trying to fix this since 6 AM. All i wanted to do is shoot some Germans. Please. I desperately need help with this. I hope that at least a Cliffs of Dover: Blitz developer sees this. zzzxxxxzzz Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 You could try to rename the 1C SoftClub folder in My Documents
AlexGuy Posted May 27, 2023 Author Posted May 27, 2023 (edited) Nevermind. I managed to already fix this problem by going into the Documents. Didn't know that there were config files also in the Docs, and not just Steamapps. Would've saved me a lot of pain. Not completely sure why they did this. Thanks for the help. Please check the 'Getting Started and Troubleshooting Guide' in the 'manuals' folder in your main il2 install folder for setup instructions.
