Going to make a Bass shaker system. Should I get one bst 1 or two smaller pucks for sterio

I'm looking at building my own bass shaker system.  I'm going to be using it in conjunction with andres simshaker wings software, which I believe supports stereo.  Should I mount a single bst bass shaker under my seat centrally, or two smaller pucks, one under each side so I can feel directional vibrations?

Here are the different parts I'm looking at

Or

Any and all advice appreciated.

Thanks

I got two for stereo and there's no way I can recommend going mono.

Dude, take my advice and don't go with pucks. I had the big Dayton ones and they overheated badly and break at the drop of a hat. I now have a proper amp and a pair of the big Buttkicker LFE shakers. They rattle my teeth and don't get even warm. Yes, it was expensive but the economy route was a waste of money (pucks and those mini amps that also got very hot, leading to one burning out and the vibes were pathetic too).

Also forget directional. As far as I can make out the only directional vibes are roll axis and not worth the bother. I have one behind my seat and the other behind the rudder pedals. That gives me serious vibes for all a/c functions through my ass, feet and joystick. ?

I advise you should go stereo mode with simshaker programm  and dayton bass shakers plus one earthquake mqb-1 in the middle. It works flawlessly till now...

Two dayton bst-1 left right under the seat , two dayton tt 25 left right under the rudder pedals and one earthquake mqb-1 in the middle back under the seat for lower hz effects like stall.

There are some left-right telemetry data in il2 you might loose them if you use mono mode...

thanks! Really helpful!

what amps do you use to power each one?

what effects do you separate and send to each shaker or do you send the same signal to all shakers?

I don’t think I could do shakers under the rudder pedals because they sit flat on the floor. I was thinking of stereo L/R under the chair and another shaker under the flight stick.

also, was looking at the larger Dayton BST-300EX shaker.

what do you think?

Dayton Tt25  are transducers you can stick them ( they have self tape on their own) where ever you want near your rudder pedals not obligatory under rudder pedals, they really add to the immersion because you feel vibrations to the whole of your body ( butt and feet ). You can put one dayton bst 300 for low hz vibrations  in the middle back under your seat and two bst-1 left - right in front and under your seat for higher hz left right oriented vibrations.

I use audacity programm  to drive different vibrations to different channels ( I use 5.1 speakers configuration from simshaker wings) 5 channels total ( 2 Dayton bst1 left - right , 2 Dayton tt 25 left-right and one earthquake =5 ). By the time you understand how audacity works, it's easy to make your own configurations.

Thanks. I will look into audacity.

if you have any settings or screenshots you could share about which effects you send to which shaker, that would be helpful. I don’t yet understand whether the various shakers are to isolate specific effects to specific shakers, or whether the same effects are just sent to all shakers…
