Grading blocked(?)

Hi guys, I don't know if this is a real issue, but from a lot of time my grading in the Luftwaffe is stopped at Hauptmann. Is it normal or something is go wrong?

That's normal. Captain or equivalent is as high as ranks go in vanilla career. PWCG goes up to Major or equivalent.

 

I assume this was done because anyone above Captain would probably be commanding a larger unit than the ones we have in-game, i. e. a whole Geschwader rather than just a Staffel or Gruppe. Also, if you started as a Feldwebel in fall of '41 I doubt you would have gotten much past Hauptmann by the end of the war (not sure how easy it was for sergeant pilots to get a commission). Hartmann started in '42 as a Leutnant and ended the war as a Hauptmann, possibly being promoted to Major in the last days of the war.
