SCG_Neun Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 (edited) I would like to suggest having a 5 to 8 second "disorientation/shell shocked" delay for the crew of any tank that receives a direct hit primarily at/or near the turret area of the tank. This would simulate some form of disorientation due to the massive concussion the shell would produce inside the tank, which would add more realism to the game. This is not the effect rarely induced in combat when the player vision goes darker and there is some blood on the screen. This would be an effect similar to when pilots pull G's...just a closing in tunnel vision type effect and then gradually back to combat efficiency. This of course could be a realism setting and would be entirely up to the player or multiplayer mission host to implement. In addition, I would suggest the option for the multiplayer server settings to have more options available which would help create a more balanced simulation environment for the serious players who would like to limit the possibilities of "gaming the game" by using settings such as "no grass detail" and ultra low graphic settings to aid in spotting enemy which would otherwise be hidden. This is not a punishment for lower end machines, but players who are trying to simulate battlefield conditions should have the ability to set the desired realism for everyone within their server. An enforced balanced server will help the realism of TC and bring the game more in line with a real simulation. Edited May 16, 2023 by SCG_Neun 4
