Youtch Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Dear community, I recently noticed that while on the ground on an airfield the terrain appears visually very bumpy, very irregular surface full of 25cm bumps, definitely not what one would expect for neat airfield conditions. I remember seeing it more flatish but then something got messed up. It has no real physical impact on the taking off/landing, and i m under the impression that this is produced by the graphics engine. Does anyone know if there is a parameter in startup.cfg or nvidia affecting this? Many thanks in advance, Y.
IckyATLAS Posted May 10, 2023 Posted May 10, 2023 Yes you can change terrain roughness in the sim Graphic Settings where you can choose the level of roughness. This does not impact dirt runways. Not sure you can do it in the config file.
