I’m really excited for the Mk IXc - it helps fill in the mid war period on the western front.  Hopefully it gets a Merlin 61 as the base engine, with the Merlin 63 and 66 available as mods.

Great update. I'll probably grab the IAR.80 before it increases in price -will release be soon? Otherwise, I'm also really excited about the updates to the Tank Crew campaigns, hoping for some additional ones to come, too.

Finally.  A decent DD with concrete plans for the future.  It only took like 8 months...but better late than never I guess. It even gives the playable ground target (tank crew) crowd a bit of hope, all 10 of them  ?

 

The Waco is an interesting choice but should be fun and add something new to do. Glad to see the series is finally gonna get the IXc.  The Ta-152 is cool but with all of these purpose built high altitude interceptors coming now it sure would be nice to have at least 1 type of AI high altitude bomber to intercept/escort in the series....

 

 

Really looking forward to FC III.  I think WWI is where this series really shines currently.

Just realized I had somehow missed picking up some of the collector planes and vehicles along the way, so went ahead and grabbed as many of those as I could to help fund some of this cool stuff coming down the road.   Really wish there was an easier way to figure out what you don't have yet - maybe the devs should consider just putting a simple "buy everything else" button on the store website?

TA-152 is great, but somewhat curious why this would come before the FW190A9/F9?

 

The A9 was flying since summer 1944 (910 A9 fighters were built) and there were relatively large numbers of F9 series flying as well…plus we have much of the base assets ready with the A8.

Really curious how multiplayer-compatible the Glider will be. Will there be tech for spawning it and the tow plane in as a pair? Or will we have the ability to hook up on the ground? Hopefully it works well!

Ta 152 yes! It's a dream come true  ? I'm also looking forward to the mentioned new eastern front map. I really hope we'll finaly get some late war eatern front  scenario/career? It would also be cool if there is a career for Kursk  and other already existing maps (Velkie Luky etc.) in the near future ?

• German interceptor Focke-Wulf Ta 152
• Soviet legendary biplane Polikarpov I-153 «Chaika»
• British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc armed with 7.69 mm machine guns and a different tail.

The addition of the Waco glider is a very good thing!

 

But the news of the Focke-Wulf Ta 152 coming to IL2 is filling me with new hope and made my week!!!!! A child dream coming true!

I´m pretty sure it was a business decision. Sales attractivity of the Ta-152 H0/H1 was estimated to be higher than 190 A9/F9 or A7. However they have to release something in 2025 to keep the boat afloat, so there is still hope.

This is extremely welcome news!

The Ta-152 has been a dream of mine for some time! IL-2 has always been the sim best positioned to give us a chance to try it, so I'm just over the moon excited about it. 

 

It's also really exciting to know we'll be getting another map as well!

The 152 was Hi Altitude fighter.....are we going upstairs to the big boys? The glider is excellent, hopefully there is a Horsa you can find in a museum for the future?

I'd buy both and very much want both but if I had to pick it'd be the 152 hands down.

Very nice news and I am excited about all of the new planes (especially the Chaika!).

However, please, make a new allied twin engine bomber (if you can't a 4-engine). 

A flyable B25, or B26 or at least a B Mosquito is very badly needed.
