SCG_Neun Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Look at that target That just kind of strikes right to the core....no fluff there in that statement. You noticed those big....juicy wings...... Edited July 30, 2014 by JagdNeun
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) You noticed those big....juicy wings...... Hmm, I've only seen juicy Mg 81 on the first sight. Hopefully it will get a 20mm front cannon as well so I can enjoy going headon with Yak pilots (which works brilliant with the Stuka already) Edited July 30, 2014 by [Jg26]5tuk4
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 The best medium bomber ever comes to life again in great style :D
kestrel79 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Looks great. Can't wait to see all the gunner stations in BoS detail.

FlatSpinMan Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Such a beautiful bomber, the 111. Those beautiful, full Heinkel wings get me every time. And it's a hoot to shoot up the glasshouse. 1

1CGS LukeFF Posted August 1, 2014 1CGS Posted August 1, 2014 The best medium bomber ever comes to life again in great style :D Let's not start that ridiculous argument again. 1
Madov Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 No let's not, because we all know the best medium bomber was the mosquito. 5
Talisman Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 No let's not, because we all know the best medium bomber was the mosquito. Correct! LOL. Happy landings, Talisman
stealthed Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 No let's not, because we all know the best medium bomber was the mosquito. Not the best bomber........ The best plane
sallee Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Not the best bomber........ The best plane The best machine of any description?
6./ZG26_Gielow Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 B25 vs He111 is acceptable. Mosquito is a light bomber.
AndyJWest Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 B25 vs He111 is acceptable. Mosquito is a light bomber. A 'light' bomber that could carry a 4000 lb cookie. What was the B-25's maximum bombload again? 2
Madov Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Yes the Mozzie could not only carry the same weight in ordnance as a B-17, they were great night fighters and Coastal Command used them very successfully on anti-shipping and anti-submarine missions with the Tsetse. Also superb photo recon aircraft as well as great escort fighters and pathfinders for bomber streams. Superb in the fighter bomber role with the Tactical Airforces, the USAAF employed several squadrons of them, and in total, one of the most complete all-rounders ever put into the air! Made from balsa and plywood to boot. 1
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Yea and they simply rotted away after the war Wood can't top aluminium The Heinkel is a very different concept and it's not worth comparign them. Apart from that it was also used as a transport or even paratrooper plane and served as a long term test bed due to it's great versatility.
1CGS LukeFF Posted August 2, 2014 1CGS Posted August 2, 2014 Yea and they simply rotted away after the war Eh no, not even close. Mosquitoes stayed in service well after the war's end.
sallee Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 There's one just down the road from where I live. The father of a friend of ours was a nav on Mosquitoes (and Canberras) and it was lovely going there with him. He had a quiet moment.
