I'm new to IL-2.... Need help with key mapping issues.

Windows 11

Warthog stick and throttle.

Quest VR

I fly the P-51 and the Sopwith Camel

After initial key mapping, everything worked for several sessions.  Subsequently, several buttons and toggles are not active in game.

I've check for any and all (orange dot) conflicts, they have been removed. The current culprits are all flight control trim axises.  I have always used the the individual

trim axis settings (I map each movement separately).  I always "Accept" the key mapping before exiting.  It appears everything maps correctly in the key mapping menus.

I have made several attempts at re-mapping, alternating with game exit and reload, complete computer shutdown and restart.  I have not made any changes via Window 11 device manager.   I don't remember if there had been been a small up between working and not working.

One other issue is with the bomb release button.  I've tried the delay toggle mapping and two others I cannot remember right now.  The mopped button does not work in game.

Thanks!

Not all planes have this function - it's mainly the bombers that use it (as well as the Fw 190 A-8 when it's configured with the F-8/G-8 mod). Neither the Camel nor the P-51s use this command.

Make sure you are mapping them to the trim axis commands and not to the trim switch commands. Once you do that properly they will work (in the P-51). The trim switch commands are for a limited number of planes that use switches to adjust their trim instead of a handwheel or knob.
