RNAS10_Mitchell Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 Currently on the operations map (o key), you must use the mouse to zoom in/out, move n,s,e,w. Please make these functions key map able, so that we don't have to take hands of the hotas to look around on this map. If there is someway to do that currently within the game software, please advise. 3

I certainly haven't invested a lot of money into high-end stick, throttles and pedals so that I have to use the mouse to operate the map. This is a huge immersion killer IMO. Of course I've programmed a routine into my autohotkey keybinding script to fix that. However, due to the fact that the game deals with mouse x/y input in a very peculiar way, my routine is not as smooth as I want it to be. I use the scroll wheel on my Virpil Alpha grip for zooming the map with great results, but moving the map with one of the coolie hats via mouse emulation in autohotkey is not smooth. If I could, I'd upvote this thread a gazillion times. Edited April 29, 2023 by JG27_PapaFly 1 1
RNAS10_Mitchell Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 Would still like to see this happen. Or...has anyone figured out how to do this?

They said they're working on hotas UI controls for IL2 Korea... which also means we're not going to see anything of the sort in the current IL2 game. 1
-332FG-Monkey_fly Posted March 3 Posted March 3 In addition to these I would like to be able to rotate the map manually. 1
1CGS LukeFF Posted March 3 1CGS Posted March 3 Guys, GUI changes are just not going to happen with GB. We're dealing with an interface (Scaleform) that is very outdated now and has been replaced by more modern tech by Autodesk. 1
