Hello All,

Only just over 20 days ago on the ~4th of April this year, I was loading and playing cooperative missions I have made with myself and some friends without issue like I have been since about mid-2021 with IL2 Great Battles. This was on Patch 5.101. After getting back from a holiday, and with the release of 5.102, Every time I go to load one of my cooperative missions up it'll finish loading then send me right back to the Multiplayer menu where you pick between cooperative or dogfight.

I have tried the resaver tool in the mission editor, and it has successfully re-saved my missions.

I have deleted the .msbin files, loaded the .mission files, and resaved them.

I have tried making a brand new mission, saving that and then the same fault happened when loading it.

I have tried Validating the game files.

Haven't changed anything about my computer, I am unsure as to why none of the missions are working anymore.

I have attached one of my missions for someone else to try if they wish to see if they can load it without issues.

Any Help would be appreciated

Works for me.

Did you rename the folder? Often when I've seen this it's because the paths in the .list file don't match the current path. I just made sure to put the files in `multiplayer/cooperative/late war/`

Thanks for this, it showed me that the problem wasn't with the missions, but rather my installation. I had a friend of mine try to load the mission too and he also was able to load it without issue.

I deleted and re-installed the game, only to have the same problem again, which was frustrating.

But here's the kicker... I uninstalled again, then went looking into the steam installation directory and noticed a bunch of left over files (i.e. your input saves for joystick bindings) and I erased the whole sturmovik folder. On a second re-install it is now working perfectly fine!

Huzzah!

Thankfully I was able to copy my bindings files back into the directory to keep my controls, we're back in business with things working as normal. Very bizarre.

I initially thought it had to do with the mission files because the Steam file validator found no faults, and I could play singleplayer and join multiplayer games without issue.
