IckyATLAS Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 (edited) It seems that we have a tool to measure distances on the map that we can display ingame by hitting the O key. I was not able to have it. On the map we have the mission data displayed, the player plane specs and that's it. We can zoom in and out, but I can find no tool to measure distances or measure a heading. What is the trick here? P.S. However on the editor map yes we can do this when building a mission. Edited April 27, 2023 by IckyATLAS
IckyATLAS Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 I play on a 42" full 4K screen and there is just nothing on the upper-left corner of the map display. What am I doing wrong? Here is the full screen shot:
No_85_Gramps Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Here you can see the line controls in the upper left corner. Really don't know why you are not seeing it.

IckyATLAS Posted April 27, 2023 Author Posted April 27, 2023 Found the error, as usual from my side. I was working with the previous version. I keep separate the new and the previous version. This is to check issues with my missions before changing. The version I work on is not through the launcher, so I was still on the older version. The new version has indeed the ruler and it works fine in mission too. That is excellent because I have missions where you have indication to fly a given distance on a given heading. This will make the flying with a map more realistic. Thanks to the devs. 1 1
