I take screen shots then over lay the screenshot against a photo of clouds which I photographed whilst flying over the Philippines. I do my best to maintain what it must of been like. Most of you know my site asisbiz.com. Hope you like what I've created. There have been some really great historical skins put up. I'd like to do some myself but was wondering if there is a way to get some of the original official skin templates that contain the official skins in them? Kind Regards Matthew While your picture here is really nice, it misrepresents the game. We went through this a few years back with another person doing the same thing and ultimately the Devs, Jason, yes I know he is no longer here, asked that person to make their own thread showcasing their Photoshop works and not to post them in this "screenshot thread". Since what you are producing cannot be reproduced in game, it really does not belong here. S!Blade<>< 1

cripplehawk Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 (edited) Greenhorns to the rescue.... Unfortunately they only got 2 of the Yak 1a. But we lost 3 Hs 129s. The Soviets are not messing around (Date November 22, 1942), North of Oblivskaya 4/SG1 trying to slow down the Soviet 8th Calvary Corp (5th Army). Out of the 4 Hs 129s that went up. Only 1 returned and the mission was a failure (The other 3 Hs129s were shot down. 1 KIA, 2 MIA) (Despite taking out 3 T34s tank and 2 Armored cars. The Soviet Convoy had about 20+ T34s and 30+ Armored cars and were still on the move) Edited April 10, 2024 by cripplehawk sentence/grammar correction 3

kraut1 Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 (edited) I have never seen this: AI controlled Destroyer torpedo attack. A "Japanese" Destroyer attacks an US Convoy near Port Moresby. (observed during campaign mission test) Torpedos are lauched to Port and starboard... ...and turns away... ...and hits the US Destroyer Edited April 15, 2024 by kraut1 3
cripplehawk Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Adolf Fegelein's 60th mission (Silver Wings clasps here we come!). November 26, 1942. Inside the Stalingrad Cauldron. A brutal 2 hour mission. The first 93 minutes was uneventful surprisingly given the circumstances they were in. Then around 97 minutes into the patrol/escort all h*ll broke loose The ambush at 97 minute mark about to commence.. 4
pappy2 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 (edited) P-47D-20-RE 42-76520 405th Fighter Group, 510th Fighter Squadron This Thunderbolt was assigned to Lt Harris S. Boyse and sported a beautiful piece of nose art by S/Sgt Trank. The photo here shows 2Lt Paul Ellison who was shot down by flak on 17th July 1944 while flying "Tipsy". After taking off from Picauville he was hit by flak just after bombing the bridge at Conde-sur-Vire. Bits of the wing started to fall away and Ellison bailed out at about 1000ft. He evaded capture and returned to military control on 2nd August. Edited April 23, 2024 by pappy2 7 1
