cripplehawk Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) "Wenck ist ein ganz ausgezeichneter Mann" Got himself 112 missions completely. Half of them in a short time during the Battle of Moscow. (The one of only 2 character who saw action in Poland/ France and England before getting shot up according to his game bio The other is based on Hans Joachim Marseilles but that bio only saw action against England). MiGCap Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Oooops! Close call! Obviously he also is a little bit scared: And yes: I survived in my Fw 190A-3 Stormbird and even got an aerial victory against a human flown Lagg afterwards (all my screenshots are multiplayer). cripplehawk Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 Hauptmann Heinrich Hoth of the 1st JG51 During the Battles of Rzhev, November 1942 Spoiler 6
cripplehawk Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 (edited) Feldwebel Leroy Johannes was a promising young pilot age 22. He was hoping to be the "Star of Russia," a next Hans-Joachim Marseille if you will. His first sortie was impressive. Shot down 3 Il-2s. Sadly he decided to go solo and it ended up costing him his life (He was lit up by a La-5 in a hit and run). Hauptmann Heinrich Hoth was his squadron leader. His last words before he got to his plane was "Alles klar, Kameraden, lasst uns das tun. LEEROY JOHANNAS!!!!" cripplehawk Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 21º Gruppo caccia terrestre patrolling over the Italian Front lines (The 8th Italian Army). Strangely the only Soviet units flying over there are fighters and they just fly over the 8th Italian Army for a while and fly back home. And their patrols are increasing every day (Late October 1942). Making everyone at that front very worried.... 7

Escorting KG55 on an early morning bomb run No losses, no enemy contact. But no victory in sight at Stalingrad.
