signalnorths Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 I like using the Easy Mission Generator as its a great quick way to produce lots of new missions in a short period of time . Of course a major drawback is the lack of populated airfields i.e stationary aircraft, vehicles within these missions etc. Is there anyway to put together an airfield template which can then be used by the Easy Mission Generator so that every mission created has your own home airfield populated? I suspect there isnt but thought Id ask anyway! Thanks in advance everyone!

And for the maps/fronts where this target is missing it is possible to define it in the template mission and in the objectives file the deactivation for the map/front has to be deleted. -In the Channel map with 2 static front lines (each airfield is only axis or only british) it is possible to place addional objects in the Static Group in the template mission. -for maps with moving fronts from my point of view it could work to define in the static group for each airfield, that could be axis or allied a 2 groups with airfield objects: 1 with allied objects and 1 with axis objects. Both groups are deactivated by default at mission begin but the correct group could be activated by a check-zone in the 1 second of the mission. parked planes in the template mission: in objectives file: Edited April 23, 2023 by kraut1

But if there are multiple 'fronts' defined it's possible that an airfield is sometimes German and sometimes Allied, so you can't put specific plane models there. I could replace any planes using a mapping table during mission generation, but it's not on the backlog yet.

Hi Vander, my idea was this for moving fronts and changing airfields: On 4/23/2023 at 6:29 PM, kraut1 said: -for maps with moving fronts from my point of view it could work to define in the static group for each airfield, that could be axis or allied a 2 groups with airfield objects: 1 with allied objects and 1 with axis objects. And a more primitive solution: by using the Radar_[FRONTNAME] groups, that you have invented for the Channel map. you can define and copy for each airfield the objects for the correct side. This works very good. Edited May 17, 2023 by kraut1
