Rodwonder Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Flying an American career in 1918 in the 27th Pursuit I have noted some things that will hopefully be addressed. The Allied AAA fire is brutal... It destroys an entire Flight of German aircraft before you can even reach the front. I've had Halberstadts disintegrate in my sights before I can even get a shot off... LOL! On the other hand, the German AAA fire is almost nonexistent. There are no guns to protect balloons at all and they are simple and easy targets. Hope this helps... 1

Problem is ... I was flying for the German Jasta 7 at the time! ? That's another issue the game needs badly ... STOP FIRING ON E.A. WHEN BEING PURSUED BY FREINDLY AIRCRAFT!!! 1

Happened to me too! ? I was just reading an account "Echo of Eagles" that this situation is somewhat based on reality, the pilot said that the British fired at all aircraft above them. ?
Zooropa_Fly Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 I've always thought that you're in more danger over friendly AAA than your bandit is. It has a tendancy to lag shoot, so on the bandits 6 isn't always the best place to be ! 1

The German flak was that close I thought my plane would go down from friendly fire. Not too friendly on that flight!
