Mulbin Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I'm only finding fragments of info and lots of "You should use open XR" but no real info on how this is achieved. Currently running a quest 2 via link cable on a Ryzen 9 3900x - GTX 3090 and the judder is horrible in busy areas, been advise openXR could help but no idea where to start getting off SteamVR.
FTC_ChilliBalls Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Just follow this tutorial: https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/opencomposite to install the OpenXR version of opencomposite. Then follow this tutorial: https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/ to install the OpenXR Toolkit. Do note though that since you‘re using the Quest 2, you most likely won‘t benefit all that much performancewise, unless you‘re willing to use the Oculus Streaming ApP instead of Virtual Desktop.
