About the maps Arras or Western Front .....

 

Arras seems to be covered also on the Western Front map ... are the areas the same?

The Western front map seems also to cover more area.

The stupid Qs are of course: can i dump the Arras map, and set existing Arras missions to Western Front in the ME?

Probably not ...?

 

BTW importing the Western Front all scenery template to an empty map seems quite large, and the areas outside of the two squares totally empty, apart from a few bridges and railways. Work in progress?

 

Some areas there could be quite nice for historic WW2 events when possible, and some areas are also on the Rheinland maps, without houses etc.

The Western Front Map is the big map which also contains the Arras area from FC1. Sadly you can not just dump your missions from the old Arras map on the Western Front Map because most things don't line up. On the Western Front Map there are currently two of four sectors populated, when you load in the template. The other two sectors will be completed with FC3 and FC4.

Thanks, so it's no use to start something like Hamaha15 did for Rheinland; editing in missing parts ...

You can do that but it gets obsolete when FC3 and FC4 arrive...
