IL2 joystick commands.

Newby here to IL2, I spend most of my time on DCS. My question is, I loaded IL@, IL46 etc via steam, and have never been able to use my Thrustmaster HOTAS, only keyboard commands. So Im wondering, should I delete the Steam IL2 and install it via the IL2 site??

but yeah, stand alone is always best imo, plus i am not to sure if you can use any of the big mod packs with steam.

I use an X-56 and crosswind pedals with and its all good, just a shame there is no vr that i know of.

but if you're into DCS, for WW2 birds you have made a good choice with 1946
