IRRE_LeLong Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Context Multiplayer RP servers show the importance of having a fog of war regarding who takes off from where. Players commonly switch sides before spawning to evaluate the hot areas depending on the spawn zones. Creating a bomber spawn for examples gives a precious information about the propable raids incomings. As it seems almost impossible to forbid a new player connecting on a server to click on both sides before spawning, server admins may should legitimately be able to toggle on or off such info impacting the gameplay on their server. Suggestion - an option for server admins to deactivate the count of players spawning on the Airfield icons. Edited April 14, 2023 by IRRE_LeLong 2 1 7
FeuerFliegen Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that it wouldn't be hard to do this, as there are other things in servers I've seen that won't give you the info until after you've already joined a side AND spawned in. Like in Finnish VP, you can't get info from the <p command (status of # of plane supply at each airfield) unless you spawn into a plane. This is a little different as it's coming from the server, but it's the same concept.
