ThunderBat Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Escort 11 B-26 Marauders as leader of a 4 P-47D-22 Thunderbolts. The target is Imjuiden power plant, May 17, 1944. This mission is a light reenactment of the mission, you get to watch the B-26 formation destroy the target while you have to defend against Bf-109 interceptors. Try to keep as many bombers andThunderBat's Single Missions.zip wingmen alive as you can, and watch the flak! 3 3

jollyjack Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 (edited) Maybe a town or harbor should be re-named IJmuiden, and the actual attack area seems Scheveningen? ? Edited April 15, 2023 by jollyjack

It's a bummer that IJmuiden is on the rhineland map, but the game has no buildings or assets placed there. Creating an asset group for that is tedious but on my to do lits 1
jollyjack Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Well, i was once editing the Scheveningen area, as the canal etc is just wrongly placed historically and the whole town area too. ; Where your plant is was for ages a historical touristic area with hotels confiscated for HQ by the nazis. In fact the Dutch coastline is wrong all over as there aren't any dunes no where. Along the coast line still are many Atlantik Wall bunkers still today BTW, none on the map as most were covered by dunes. I gave editing that up as you cannot save altered heights anyway, especially since SurfaceEdit was changed in the ME. Hamaha15 spent time on Vlissingen, editing railways etc, I tried Hook of Holland, both also quite important for the German Warfare.
