Russkly Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Flying a June 1917 career (career mode and PWCG) on D.Va's. Collimator sights are available, which shouldn't be the case until 1918 (not sure when exactly). Baling out with parachute also available, which shouldn't be the case until mid-1918. Lastly, even though based just north of Verdun, I faced S.E.5a's of 85 Sqn. based out of Filescamp Farm just west of Arras - I know finding the RFC way down south has already been reported, but the point here is that 85 Sqn. wasn't formed until August 1917...
J99_Sizzlorr Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Germans had Oigee tube sights since 1916 with a x2,5/x3 magnification. Since they are completly missing in FC I think it is ok to have the colimator sights as stand ins, as much as I hate that word. https://www.deutscheluftwaffe.de/flugzeug-zielfernrohr-oigee-1917-2

Perhaps they should just use Aldis sights, which German pilots would often use on their aircraft when captured? They are more akin to the Oigee, I believe.
