-332FG-SGTSAUSAGE138 Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 (edited) This bug first appeared on March 23 or at least that's the first time I experienced it with some of my squad mates who witnessed it. It happens when I turn off recording a track, my plane speeds up in all movement like when you do time dilation or whatever (fast forward) in single player. All the gauges read the same, same power settings and same indicated airspeed, but my plane moves faster than normal. In multiplayer everyone else is moving the same normal speed while my plane moves faster which is obviously not good for multiplayer gameplay. It only happens when I stop recording a track, when I start recording again my plane moves at normal speed again. I did not change anything to make this happen and have not been able to get rid of it. I deleted my tracks folder and changed some graphic settings to see if that might fix it but nothing has. My hardware hasn't changed in the last 6 years. This occurs consistently now every time I play. Edited April 7, 2023 by -332FG-SGTSAUSAGE138 1 1 1
[CPT]Crunch Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 So that's how they're doing it, see this lately when we are lining up for a shot. 1
Rodwonder Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 The old Il 2 1946 used to do that when you were close to firing... Always wondered about it.
-332FG-SGTSAUSAGE138 Posted April 9, 2023 Author Posted April 9, 2023 (edited) I also just had my first single player crash in a QMB mission flying HE111 on Normandy. Frames dropped when I was approaching home field with an enemy flight of A20's being engaged by fighters. I turned towards A20's and game crashed . HWMonitor showed all cpu's at 100%. I dunno what my RAM was doing, but it looks like GPU usage was maxed at 100% as well(EVGA 2080ti). Edited April 9, 2023 by -332FG-SGTSAUSAGE138

Marvel Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Hello guys, me too had reported the same problem some weeks ago: In the last period I have this bug one or two time only. As I said in my previous post, I avoid fight and wait for the end of this strange behaviour. I hope devs could fix it. Ciao! M. 1
-332FG-SGTSAUSAGE138 Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 So I'm guessing it has to do with how many scripts are running on a server. It happens consistently on Combat Box Apollo (not the regular CB missions) I think it's happened before on TAW as well. I was told by the IL-2 people that its my CPU being over worked but I have a pretty decent CPU (i7 7820X). My CPU doesn't have the best single core speed though so I'm guessing it's the way IL-2 only utilizes a single core for everything. I have also experienced it in heavy single player missions. The game says im getting 45 FPS in VR but its running VERY slow. Not choppy but slow, which would lead me to believe it is technically running 45 fps but the length of a second in game is stretched out to 2.5 seconds, so not really 45 fps. If I'm not warping around on Apollo I've found that I'm actually going slower. I was flying with a wingman and he told me he was doing 120-150 just to stay in formation with me and even then he was having trouble, I was showing ~290 indicated on my plane which doesn't change when I start to warp either.
=TF=Zapper35 Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 We had same thing. I am surprised this hasn't been addressed as it could probably be leveraged into a hack ...
