Simpit telemetry for gauges ?

I'm in the early stages of planning a simpit build. I thought I would have to use DCS, because there is a third party software interface called DCS-BIOS that provides an easy ( ish ) way to drive physical gauges and indicators.
Recently though a friend has told me that such a thing exists for IL-2, and I would much rather build the pit around IL2 and not have to deal with all the issues that come with DCS ( I have flown DCS for over ten years and I have finally just about run out of patience with it. That's off topic though )

Can someone point me towards this project if it exists ?

Thanks for that, I wonder how I can contact the developer of IL-2 dials ?
Github is very frustrating to navigate for non programmers and casual users, he might have an email address on there and I can't find it.
