Greetings!

Could someone please explain why, with the radiator completely closed, the yak-9 does not overheat on winter maps, on deck?(with 2550 RPM ofc)
It didn't overheat in 20 minutes.

The max water temps for the engine is 100-110 (and only for 10min…so the engine does have a timer).

i have experienced that the overheating just happens at around 115.

maybe there is something wrong with the temp limits and the radiator is far to efficient?

The test lasted 16 minutes, because the map turned back in the other direction, and everything was automatic until then.

At around 11 minutes the oil reaches 116 degrees, and no higher. It says that it is overheated, but apart from a loss of 2 km/h, no other negative effects can be noticed.

The water temperature reached 92-93 degrees Celsius by the end of the video.

An additional problem seems to be, that the temperature limits for the Yaks (klimov) engine seem to be wrong.

per manual its 110C max (and just for 10min, but thats also missing), but in the game it seems to be 115C

Thanks, all. I've reported this up the chain to the developers.
