SGJE1Tyrell63 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Hi I know, its a typical Newbie question...... but is there a recommended setting for the key mapping for Thrustmaster Warthog and Stick (plus Rudder) which can be used for a wide range of planes? At the moment im playing mostly Flying Circus, but I also want the fly e.g. the BF-109 in several campaigns. I have a lot (!) of configurable butttons and switches....but there are "zillions" of combinations. Thats why my question Best from Singapore Lutz
jollyjack Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Got any answers yet? Usually i edit the global settings only a bit to my liking, especially the curves for aileron, yaw and elevator.
DragonDaddy Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 I think people approach this in different ways. Some follow historical settings based on real flight sticks. I set up my stick, throttle and pedal in a way that makes sense to me. Functions I use most, especially guns, weapons and zoom, I put on the joystick, with pitch and roll controls (that’s what a joystick is for!). Buttons on the throttle are used for functions that are comfortable with my left hand like flaps, brakes, landing gear, trim tabs. See which method works best for you. Trial and error is your friend. You can always remap what you don’t like.
