SR-F_Winger Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hello Aero jockeys. I finally had Lück and got an Aero cheap. I am new to this Headset and didnt find anything via Google hence the Swatch Here. How do i set the Headset to sleep Mode? When i Quit the Base Software the Screens seem to still remain powered even thou the Pictures Turns grey as If they were in Standby but still powered. I Just want to make Sure i handle this right? Thanks David
dburne Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) There is no sleep mode. Have to disconnect power to the headset. I have mine plugged into a smart plug that I can turn on/off with my cell phone. Otherwise would need to unplug the Link box manually. I also use a couple of smart plugs for my 2 Lighthouse trackers. I actually turn all three ( cameras and headset) off/on with my cell phone with one swipe. Edited April 3, 2023 by dburne
slicktwitchy Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 I have mine plugged into smart plug too. Automatically turns off power at 11PM. Easy to turn on and off and schedule from phone etc. 1

Jade_Monkey Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Just wanted to confirm the below, I'l be pretty bummed out if that is the case. Are these statements true? "With the Aero, you have to manually unplug the headset to turn it off. You also have to manually unplug your base stations to turn them off. There is no Bluetooth communication between the Aero and the base stations for power management like there is on the Index."

I have mine and the lighthouse stations plugged into their own power strip. Just flick it off when done with a session. Edited January 18, 2024 by Voxman 1

kevman Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 I bought some remote controlled sockets for mine. They came in a pack of three so i have one for each base station and the headset. Works really well as i was having to climb over my rig to turn off the base stations
javelina Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 similar to jade, I keep a separate power strip for the Aero and both base stations. works great
