More questions about FC.III/III+ than answers?

Major questions are raised by new information update:

1. What happened to the Floatplanes/Seaplanes? Will they remain only in Rise of Flight? Or will we eventually see them in an additional expansion?

2. Will have FCIV (FC3.5?) just those six aircraft or will the list be expanded to have ten aircraft? Will future modules for WWI only include six aircraft at a time? Will prices reflect this?

3. Will the third section of the map be completed? If it is cancelled, is this just because it is considered unnecessary/unprofitable or is it due to waiting for the newer map tech to mature?

4. Will the AQMG ever be implemented for Flying Circus (as was mentioned by Jason long ago?) It'd be nice to have missions which start about 10-15 minutes from the target area (which has to be quite close for WWI aircraft due to the low speed)! It'd be great.

5. Will the Airco DH.2 get field modifications this time around (e.g. alternative fuel tank, second Lewis gun, flexible Lewis gun, Le Prieur rockets, Maxim gun or ...37mm cannon)? In Rise of Flight it had no field modifications available (not even Le Prieur rockets or the early fuel tank)! P.S. Also, the Roland C.II could have a Lewis gun field mod (and a flower pot - for the record)!

6. If Ugra media isn't interested in developing more aircraft (but just completing the remaining ones) - will other 3rd party devs be allowed to contribute?

There are some great possible additions: Particularly there is a need for early war two-seaters (e.g. Caudron G.IV, Voisin VIII, Morane-Saulnier L/Pfalz A.II/E.III - as well as a slow German two seater such as the LVG C.II, Aviatik C.I or Ablatros C.I) that are slow enough for the Halberstadt, Eindercker E.III and Airco DH.II to catch. However, there are also some very interesting 1917 designs that saw at least four months of service (Airco DH.5 and Moraine-Saulnier AI) as well as a couple of mass produced later war designs people would like (Roland D.VIb, Spad XII). So there is definite room for growth.

The latest development update states right there that they plan on completing the Western Front map, so I don't know where this idea comes from that it might be canceled.

Your comment actually? In the other thread. I've started listening to you too much (but probably not closely enough) - apologies if I misread your comment! I will go reread the dev update/announcement again.

Something else I would add, will we see the Tarnopol map from RoF added (WW1 Eastern Front) and have Russian planes vs Austro-Hungary and German planes (the Eindecker and the Albatross D.III were used by A-H)?

That was the former ILYA Muromets sideline that finally got absorbed by ROF.
Was pondering same thing ...

Until proven otherwise, I'd assume that it'll just be the six, as FC was always very much presented as, essentially, a RoF port. But now that you mention it, it would be a good chance to start filling in a couple of the blanks that RoF saw and introducing some new aircraft. The B.E.2 would be a good start...one of the most conspicuous absences in the early-war RoF roster!

Yes, considering she operated throughout the war she's a notable absence and should be included in FC. I wouldn't have wanted to fly the Quirk in any real war situation, but in the game, yes, and to my eye she is beautiful. A prime example of Edwardian Steampunk art.

I'll start a separate thread on this topic :)

Good point! There are two aircraft (plus the Russian N,17) that need such a map - and not statement has been made regarding them. It'd also have some potential benefits (for instance, two of the three most mass produced German fighters, that haven't been modelled yet, were used primarily in the East - and there are a lot of other aircraft in the game which fit Russian Civil War scenarios).
