One thing odd the last 2 Bristols both pilot kill, but not gunners. I've noticed this happens often. The tactical numbers on the Fokkers don't look right, never seen that in photos.

It's a choice between having a bunch of blank, generic, unmarked planes flying around or giving them some sort of identity that makes them look unique from one another in the sky. It's the best that can be done right now.

Luke - might it be possible to tweak the career files to incorporate some of the skins that have been done for PWCG (similar to some of the things we did with the RoF career mode back in the day)? This might be a way of giving the German planes some visual variety without using the somewhat odd-looking tactical number scheme. If it's possible, I'd be happy to adapt the skin files and config files as needed.

It could certainly be done, but it would likely remain a third-party mod since there are a limited number of slots in the game for official skins, and then of course all those third-party skins take up a lot of disk space. But yeah, the skins file is pretty much the same as it was in ROF (27skins.cfg is the name of the file over here).

Kinda got my hands full at the moment in connection with bringing some of the key stuff from the old RoF forums over here to the new RoF subforum, but when I get a chance I'll take a look at that file and see if it looks like some sort of improvements of that nature might be manageable. Since career mode is inherently a single-player experience (unless something has changed radically), I don't think it remaining a third-party mod would really be a problem. 1

Thanks for your replies. There is a handful of those already - see for instance the Pfalz D.XII and Albatros D.Va. ? But yes, hopefully it will be expanded in the future.
