You can change the rocket firing mode at any time you want - pairs or salvo. That's all that was available to the real plane.

Like I said, I believe the player deserves some leeway, such as fire rockets one at a time not just in pairs or salvo. I would also like the opportunity to customize the plain equipment and armaments for each mission. I don't like locked parameters.

It's historical, so that's what this flight sim tries to emulate, which is a good thing really, because the developers can't account for the many millions of personal tastes out there in humanity... you are out of luck chum!

I think that the developers already took some liberties with historical accuracy by greatly exaggerating the number of German aircraft in Normandy at the time for example, for the sake of entertainment.

Or you try Easy Mission Generator by Vander:

with this tool you have the absolut control about the number of planes:

You can create very quick with these tools playable SP Missions.

If you rename the missions alpha - numerical, e.g. by date, you can put them in a selfmade scripted campaign folder and fly / create campaign missions step by step.

Works really good - I have already flown my whole P39 Campaign while creating / testing the missions.

For the record the game already takes more than a few liberties with historical accuracy. Most notably the amount of German air craft during the Normandy campaign is way higher in the game than it was in real life.

True. Historical accuracy is frequently altered slightly for many improved gameplay reasons. Flight times to combat area, frequency and number of enemy aircraft, amount of ground fire, target locations and player airfield locations on maps, etc.

Because so many things have to be "adjusted" most campaign makers try to get the remaining details as close as possible when they want to use the term "historical", which in reality means inspired by and based on historical events as opposed to generally fictitious.

BlackSix, excellent job on the campaign, really enjoying it.

You’re the first dev I’ve seen capture close air support so well; seeing our guys on the ground waiting for me to take out German anti-tank guns was awesome.

Nice work!

Thank you very much!

It seems that if I had chosen a squadron that used bombs instead of rockets, the campaign would have been even better))

I'll "make amends" in the upcoming new campaign for Normandy)

Found a bug. Mission 7, while strafing German positions S of Evrecy. I got a notice that I had destroyed a friendly target and would get yelled at or something, I can't remember. It was a group of red symbols. They appeared to be all red before I attacked so I have no idea what happened. I never fired on anything close to friendly positions. After the mission it said I hit a leFH 18 Howitzer.

I've got the same bug on my PWCG missions (Typhoon CAS on Normandy map). MG38 destroyed and a chat message warning for a friendly fire.

I can't say why this happens, all the objects in this area are either neutral or German.

Yeah, I reflew this mission and there are absolutely no blue markers in that area. I even rotated through the units using 'show next friendly ground unit' and nothing showed up there.

Very strange. I really enjoyed all the missions though - appreciate all the hard work!

It makes me think that someone should do a mission where the targets are intermixed and friendlies are screaming for air support. It'd be fun to have to be *very* exact with where you're shooting.
