Game keeps crashing

The game keeps crashing. I am playing in pilot career mode in BoN, and the crash usually happens when I've been flying for around 30 minutes. 
There are no log files in the "IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles\data\logs" location so not sure what to check.. Any help?

Sometimes it crashes with this error, and sometimes crashes with no error message..

Looks like graphics card problem. Drivers, temperature, not enough power from PSU , you need to check that.

I suggest monitoring your GPU temperatures when playing IL-2 with something like HWinfo or similar. I'd also suggest doing the usual checks like making sure the GPU and other components like RAM are properly inserted, so pop them out, reinsert them to make sure. If you get the same problem and the temperatures are fine (check what is the expected temperature for your GPU model) then you could try running a stress test for the GPU like Furmark or MSI Kombustor which has a suite of tests designed to check the stability of GPUs. Basically pick a demanding test and run it for 30 minutes, an hour or so and that should reveal any hardware issues like something failing on the GPU or your power supply falling over.

 

It's not an easy thing to fix but be systematic, work through the obvious ideas first. Good luck.

Ran FurMark stress test for 30 min and gpu temp didn't rise above 87c. This, plus the fact that the game sometimes crashes during menu screens where gpu usage is much lower, suggests it's not a hardware issue..

Is there a way to enable logging for the game so we can see what happened before the crash?

I have that error too, and what i do was to unistall the whole program, and download again.
