Its ok when you zoom in but zoomed to center view or farther back its really noticeable.

Maybe im just noticing this because im not flying with auto anything anymore, so im looking at the gauges more.

2560 x 1440 ultra msaa x4 or 8, quality textures in the nvidia panel, aa level doesnt seem to help.

Anyone else notice this? Anything to be done about it?

Thanks.

Ok so apparently when you have vsync turned on in the game the game does downscaling even if you have max frame rate turned off or set to 30 frames per second. This is pretty ridiculous given the refresh rates of some recent monitors.

Pro tip: A feature you cant turn off, dont use and that negatively impacts graphics performance, isnt a feature its a bug.

I'm not sure what you're setting. Vsync just prevents screen tearing by capping the framerate to your monitors refresh rate. The frames per second you are setting in game is also a cap on how many frames the game will draw, usually use this in lieu of vsync so the game doesn't draw frames higher than your monitor's refresh. The game doesn't downscale graphics either, your card's graphic settings would have to be set to that. I know nvidia can do it, but it has to be set through the driver control panel     . But neither of those settings in game would cause graphics to downscale either, and the only reason the graphics drivers would downscale is to maintain higher framerates than can be processed at current graphics settings (usually resolution being the key factor) but neither of those settings would be to maintain high framerates either.

Vsync and setting the max frames would only result in frames not being drawn above what your monitor is capable of, if your system could only draw 1fps neither of those settings would impact that or cause downscaling to get higher than 1fps.

I too cannot see how vsync would result in texture downscaling. If it does, you might be onto a bug.

Could you perhaps post screenshots with vsync on and off and all other settings equal? That'd be something the Devs would need before they'd look into this.

He is right. Check it first. In my system is the same with Vsync. I dont understand the cause either

Check if Dynamic Resolution Factor is being used in the in-game graphics settings.

Yea you're doing something wrong for this to happen.

Actually now I remember in this video of mine this happens.

Not sure how or why and the problem fixed itself.
