As custom and boutique force feedback solutions are becoming more and more prevalent, I hope the devs have the time to standardize/fix some glaring issues with FFB.

The first issue would require a simple settings change to fix if a FFB stick is detected.

Tested with a VPForce Rhino FFB Joystick

1. Brief description:

FFB Trim is not the same as with a springed joystick
Detailed description, conditions:

Many aircraft that I have tested have problems with the "starting" position of the joystick not align with how trimming works.

Aircraft such as the BF-109 require massive amounts of forward trimming (100%) in order to fly straight and level. Even then, the aircraft will still pitch up if forward pressure on the stick is not applied.

A band-aid fix is the usage of the "Pitch Response Curve" in the settings menu in order to set a new "Neutral Point". Further testing is needed to see if this interferes with FFB effects.

Currently testing with the 109 at -20 Neutral Point. Aircraft flies straight at level at cruising speeds with the trim indicator in the cockpit on 0 degrees.

2. Brief description:

With the engine off, WW2 aircraft don't experience elevator droop (causing the stick to fall forwards) - WW1 Aircraft already have the proper implementation

Detailed description, conditions:

With no prop wash, aircraft should have their elevators droop forcing the stick forward unless it is held up in the neutral position. Flying Circus aircraft already implement this in FFB causing the stick to droop. I'm not sure how the code works, but I was hoping the same code that exists for WW1 planes could be implemented on the WW2 aircraft.

I think you mean VPforce RHINO FFB

VPC is a different company and my old MS FF2 did have the former features you are not experiencing with your hardware (but not the latter).

Thanks, I fixed it.
