Thrustmaster Flight HOTAS - Windows 10 Rudder Issues

Hi Folks

I have wrestled with this problem for weeks now. The rudder axis on the joy is too sensitive to fly anything sensibly.
I have tried adjusting the sensitivity slider to 100 and played with the dead zones too but it makes not a jot of difference.
Tried re installs, Microsoft Joystick calibration, IL Sturm Joystick wizard and the Controls in the Options menu.

Can anyone help please because the game appears to be excellent.
