I can't find the patch

Flying Circus Vol 1 looks for a patch every time I boot it up and tells me I can't proceed until it's patched. The problem is I have no idea where to find the patches. I have looked all over and they must be a government secret because I cannot find them. Can anyone steer me in the right direction. It would be greatly appreciated.

Which game??     Steam or Store?   

 

Which icon on your desktop?? Launcher.exe or il2.exe? 

  

I have IL2 Store version, the launcher,.exe will update the game before it let's you start the game. Not sure about Steam version. Some updates are late getting to Steam.

Mine auto updates directly from Steam, no muss, no fuss.

As already pointed out, starting the sim with the Launcher will automatically download any pending patches.  Once downloaded you have to start up in Online mode to update the sim.  It won't allow you to start up in Offline mode until the sim is updated.

May try a fresh start from scratch.
Guess you should keep hold of your old game as backup by renaming its folder in case you need to copy/paste former settings back in?

delete the updates folder, and then start launcher .. automatic repair by the devs AA team.

Thanks guys. I was launching from the IL2.exe instead of the launcher. It works now.
