Ammo drains away

I haven’t been able to find other posts about this so forgive me if this is well known, but while playing single player my gun ammo slowly drains away for no reason, I begin the mission with max ammo and every 30 seconds or so a round or two is gone from the ammo counter. Has anyone else experienced this or know a fix?

Could it be that your joystick trigger is glitching so that you fire a couple of rounds every so often?

 

Otherwise, please upload a track file so the Devs can see what's going on.

WW1 or WW2 planes? Possible you are charging/reloading your weapons, each time that happens a round will be ejected.

This!! WW2 planes I’ve only got BOS at the moment, you were correct though, the button I mapped for zoom on my joystick was automatically mapped for reload as well by the game, so everytime I was looking around I was re-chambering a round. Thanks so much for the insight!

Yup, 1/2 way to the party, counter says zero. BUT the gun still works. Been that way for a while.

If the counter on the screen says I don't have any bullets. I'm not talking about the counters on a WWI bird. But the tech display on the bottom of the screen.

BUT the machine guns are still firing, they must have ammo. Sorry, but that's the way it is. Saying that I'm the problem, won't fix it either.?

Well, what else could it be? No one else outside of this thread has reported this issue, from what I have seen. 

 

A general rule with these sorts of things is that, if your problem is not being experienced by many other players or anyone else, the root cause is operator error. ?

 

And, besides, that, you've not yet provided any track files or screenshots, so exactly what is going on here is still a mystery.
