Aircraft Particulars - Differentiating Models/Variants

I love that there are so many different aircraft in these games, but I'm having difficulty determining the difference between some of them. For instance, what's the difference between a Bf 109 E-4 and E-4 late, a Hurricane Mk I DH 5-20 vs Rotol, MC 202 Series III vs VIII, etc. I had hoped to find this in the manuals folder, but instead found (helpful) aircraft operating instructions. My internet searching has found a 2017 list from Jason, a partial list from 2020, and something similar on Steam.  Is there a list somewhere in the game, or elsewhere?

It sounds like a very good idea for more extensive documentation - and if it was on a website it might help sales by getting people excited about specific variants.

Not official documentation but I plan to do a video series that explains the differences between the various models of Bf109s, Spitfires, Hurricanes, ... in the game.

No ETA on that however for now.

Thank you Karaya, that's most kind of you. Please take into account that the two games, "Blitz" and "Tobruk", put 94 types, variants, and subvariants together. An Excel list may simplify that task for you, and if you want I can start from now creating the list so that I share it with you very soon. Unless you are already sure about the 94 aircraft names in the list, 'cause I know you are an experienced player.

For the macchi I made a video time ago.

I also made it for the Emil, but was before Tobruk update.

Unfortunately no real official documentation was ever released and all we have was always done by the community with video tutorials and guides.

What I have in mind is not really an aircraft familiarization video but more of an overview of what kind of models there are and what their detail differences are.
