JG4_Moltke1871 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Hi there. A few planes have the “Höhenatmer“ Oxygen system. But so far I see no difference. Just for fun spawned with a SpadXIII on 9000 meters but my pilot not choking or get a blurred view. Spawn with a Fokker D VIIF, I can hear the pilot breathing through the pipe. So what’s the point of the Oxigen System in Flying Circus? Shouldn’t have the lack of oxygen in altitude over 3K or 4K meters have any effect on the pilots conditions? Maybe the devs can answer? 1 1
migmadmarine Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 The way it seems to work currently is that you never simply pass out from lack of oxygen, but your stamina for high-g maneuvers is significantly reduced. I recall fiddling with this quite some time back when the new physiology and associated UI elements were added. If you spawn at max altitudes without oxygen, you'll pass out with a couple sharp turns, and take a very long time to recover, where as you'll have much higher stamina with oxygen. Still strange though that you don't just get hypoxia and pass out in straight and level. 2 1
